Astreea SmartCharger 2x22 kW Floor-Standing EV Charging Station (with 2 coiled cables 5 m)

This is a charging pillar that is fixed into the floor and supplies two electric cars at once. Each point has its own coiled cable, that is a cable that retracts on its own, like the cord of an old telephone, and does not stay stretched on the ground. The driver does not need to bring their own accessories: they stop the car, pull the cable and plug it into the vehicle socket. The cylindrical stainless steel body is designed to stay outdoors, in the car park, all year round.

The two points each deliver up to 22 kW, that is 44 kW installed in a single body; as a guide, one hour of charging at 22 kW means around 22 kWh going into the battery, if the car accepts this power on alternating current. The coiled cables are 5 m each, a length sufficient for two adjacent parking spaces. The pillar is only 114 mm in diameter, so it takes up very little of the manoeuvring space. It works between -30 and +60 °C and at 5-95% humidity non-condensing, and the shock and tilt sensors stop the charging by themselves if someone hits the pillar. Through dynamic load balancing, the power is split between the two cars so that the total consumption stays within the limit of the connection.

Astreea SmartCharger self standing dual with two coiled cables is the fully equipped version of the cylindrical floor-standing station with two charging points. The supply is three-phase 3Ph + N + PE, 400 V, with two circuits of 32 A each and a maximum power of 2 x 22 kW, that is 44 kW installed in a single body. The two vehicles can be charged simultaneously, each with its own coiled cable with a Type 2 connector, included in the delivery - there is no need for the drivers to have their own cable.

The cylindrical enclosure is of stainless steel, with a diameter of 114 mm, and includes Type 2 sockets with shutter (T2S) on both points. Electrical protection is done with a type A RCBO of 30 mA / 40 A, with residual current monitoring and overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage and earth fault protections. Mechanically, the station has IP54 protection degree and IK10 impact resistance, with shock and tilt sensors that automatically stop the charging. The operating range is -30...+60 °C, at 5-95% humidity non-condensing.

Connectivity comprises Wi-Fi 2,4 GHz, Bluetooth 5, Ethernet and 4G modem, with the OCPP 1.6 (OCPP 2.0.1 in preparation), Modbus RTU, NFC and Plug & Charge ISO 15118-20 protocols. The station performs dynamic load balancing between the two points and can be integrated with photovoltaic and storage systems, with a configurable RGB LED indicator and iOS/Android mobile apps.
