Inverter-Battery communication cable Pytes
Without this cable the battery and the inverter do not talk to each other. It transmits the state of charge and the battery limits; RJ45-RJ45, 3.5 m on the Pytes V5 B2I version.
The three-phase connection cable between the inverter and the board, suitable for burying or outdoor installation. 5 × 4 mm², 0.6/1 kV, class 5 flexible copper, XLPE insulation at 90 °C.
It is the alternating current cable used where the installation is three-phase, that is where it has three phases instead of one. The five conductors inside cover the three phases, the neutral and the earth, and the outer sheath makes it suitable for outdoor installation, buried directly or pulled through conduit. It is installed after the inverter, on the path between it and the distribution board.
With five 4 mm² conductors it covers the connection of small and medium power three-phase inverters and the supply of three-phase charging stations. The XLPE insulation withstands 90 °C on the conductor in permanent operation, and the cable stays functional down to -40 °C; laying is nevertheless done only above 0 °C, a temperature measured on the surface of the cable. It resists moisture, submersion and medium-severity impacts, so it can be left in a trench or on an outdoor run without additional protection. The class 5 flexible conductors are easily pulled through conduits and are conveniently connected in crowded boards, where the working space is small.
RV-K 0,6/1 kV per IEC 60502-1 and UNE 21123-2, 5 × 4 mm², class 5 copper (flexible), XLPE insulation, outer sheath of black flexible PVC. Maximum conductor temperature 90 °C in permanent operation, 250 °C for a maximum of 5 s on short circuit, service minimum -40 °C in fixed and protected installations, laying minimum 0 °C. Flame non-propagation EN 60332-1, reduced halogen content, CPR class Eca, water resistance AD8 submersion and impact AG2. Minimum bending radius in fixed installations 5 × the outer diameter.
Suitable for a house or an office with a three-phase supply and a small or medium power inverter, including when a three-phase charging station is added.

Low-voltage power cable of the RV-K type per IEC 60502-1 and UNE 21123-2, with a rated voltage of 0,6/1 kV, in a configuration with five 4 mm2 conductors. The conductors are of class 5 copper (flexible), individually insulated with XLPE and protected by an outer sheath of flexible PVC. The five-core configuration is intended for three-phase circuits, covering the three phases, the neutral and the protective conductor.
The XLPE insulation allows a maximum conductor temperature of 90 °C in permanent operation and 250 °C for a maximum of 5 seconds on short circuit. The minimum service temperature is -40 °C for fixed and protected installations, and the minimum temperature at laying, measured on the surface of the cable, is 0 °C. The PVC sheath does not propagate the flame per EN 60332-1 and has a reduced halogen content.
The cable can be buried directly, pulled through conduit or laid outdoors without additional protection, resisting humidity and submersion (AD8), with medium-severity impact resistance (AG2). The minimum bending radius in fixed installations is 5 times the outer diameter, and the reaction-to-fire class per CPR is Eca. The flexibility of the class 5 conductor eases pulling through conduits and connection in crowded boards.
In photovoltaic installations the 5x4 mm2 variant is used for the AC connection of small and medium power three-phase inverters, for the link between the inverter and the distribution board and for the supply of three-phase charging stations.
