Deye RW-F16 battery, 16 kWh, LiFePo4
Autonomy for a whole evening: 16 kWh, of which 14.4 kWh usable, 160 A continuous and a 300 A peak for appliances that are hard to start.
It charges even in frost, thanks to the heating pad: 5.12 kWh, 75 A continuous, charging from -18 °C and stacking of up to 16 modules (81.92 kWh).
It is a battery for the home that solves a problem specific to winter: lithium batteries cannot be charged at sub-zero temperatures, and this model has an integrated heating element, which raises the temperature of the cells by itself before charging. Otherwise it does what any solar battery does: it gathers the energy produced by the panels during the day and gives it back in the evening. The modules can be placed one on top of the other, so that they take up little room.
One module has 5.12 kWh and continuously supports 75 A, i.e. roughly approximately 3.8 kW, with peaks of 101-120 A for 3 minutes and 121-180 A for 15 seconds for starting motors. The heating pad raises the temperature by 8 °C per hour and allows charging between -18 and 10 °C, so the battery can sit in an unheated outbuilding or in a holiday house used in winter. The service life is a minimum of 6000 cycles at 90% depth of discharge, with efficiency above 95% and a design life of up to 20 years. The module measures 442 x 530 x 140 mm and 44 kg; up to 16 modules are stacked per group (81.92 kWh) and up to 6 groups with a hub (491.52 kWh).
LFP, 5.12 kWh, 100 Ah, 51.2 V, range 47.5-57.6 V. Recommended and maximum continuous current 75 A on charging/discharging, peaks 101-120 A / 3 min and 121-180 A / 15 s; minimum 6000 cycles at 90% DoD. 442 x 530 x 140 mm (3.2U), 44 kg, wall or floor stand mounting; heating pad +8 °C/h, charging operation -18...10 °C, ambient working temperature -10...50 °C. CAN and RS485 communication, optional WiFi for remote monitoring. Maximum 16 units per group (81.92 kWh) and 6 groups with a hub (491.52 kWh). Certifications UL9540 Ed.2, UL9540A, UL1973, CEC, SGIP, CE, IEC62619, UN38.3. 10-year warranty.
Suitable for off-grid systems and holiday houses in areas with cold winters, where the battery sits in an unheated space and must be able to charge even in frost.
