Deye RW-F16 battery, 16 kWh, LiFePo4
Autonomy for a whole evening: 16 kWh, of which 14.4 kWh usable, 160 A continuous and a 300 A peak for appliances that are hard to start.
You increase autonomy in steps, without changing what you already have: 19 inch rack module, 5.12 kWh, 50 A continuous (2.56 kW), up to 96 units (491.5 kWh).
It is a home battery built like a rack drawer, that is the standard metal cabinet used in technical and server rooms. You put it on a shelf, connect it to the inverter and it gathers the energy produced by the panels during the day, so that you can use it in the evening. When you need more autonomy, you add another identical drawer, without modifying the existing installation.
A 5.12 kWh module covers a modest evening consumption, and the continuous power of 2.56 kW (50 A) supports the lighting, the fridge, the router and the home electronics; for large loads several modules are connected in parallel, up to 96, that is 491.52 kWh. The peak of 102 A for 15 seconds covers short start-ups. The round-trip efficiency of at least 95% means that out of 100 kWh put into the battery you recover at least 95. The module measures 440 x 620 x 117 mm (2.6U) and 51 kg, with accessories for rack or wall mounting, and works between -10 and 50 °C.
LFP, 5.12 kWh, 100 Ah, 51.2 V, range 47.5-57.6 V. Recommended and maximum charge/discharge current 50 A (2.56 kW DC), peak 102 A / 15 s; round-trip efficiency at least 95%; over 6000 cycles at 90% DoD and 25 °C. 19 inch rack format, 2.6U, 440 x 620 x 117 mm, 51 kg, -10...50 °C. CAN and RS485 communication, with protocols for most inverter brands on the market; up to 96 units in parallel (491.52 kWh). Certifications UL9540 Ed.2, UL9540A, UL1973, CEC, SGIP, CE, IEC62619, UN38.3. 10-year warranty.
Suitable for those who want to start small and grow in steps of about 5 kWh, especially in off-grid, telecom or technical room installations where a 19 inch rack already exists.
