Aiko Comet 1N A600
More energy from the same roof area: 600 W from a single module, at 23.2% efficiency, with the contacts moved to the back for a fully active front face.
650 W monofacial at about 28.2 kg: the same surface as the bifacial version, but with about 4 kg less on the roof. Efficiency around 24%.
This is the monofacial version of the large 650 W panel: it produces only with the face exposed to the sun, without depending on the light reflected by the ground. It has all the electrical contacts on the back of the cell, so the front has no metal lines to cover the light, and the active surface is larger. Instead of glass on both faces, it has glass on the front and a protective film on the back, which makes it lighter.
The panel measures 2382 x 1134 x 30 mm, that is about 2.7 sqm, and weighs approximately 28.2 kg, some 4 kg less than the bifacial glass-glass versions of the same surface, which reach 32-33 kg. The difference matters both when handling on site and on hall roofs with a small load reserve. As a rough guide, 100 panels mean 65 kWp on about 270 sqm of module surface (calculated from power and dimensions). It loses 0.26% of its power for each degree above the reference temperature, and the declared ageing is under 1% in the first year and under 0.35% per year thereafter; the warranty is 15 years on the product, extendable to 25, plus 30 years on performance.
Configuration 144 N-type ABC cells (6 x 24), mono-glass monofacial, module efficiency about 24% (the top of the Comet 2U72 series reaches 24.8%). Pmax coefficient -0.26 %/°C, maximum system voltage 1500 V DC. For the series, the manufacturer declares, at the same surface, an installed capacity over 5% higher than with TOPCon and over 12.5% higher than with PERC, respectively an energy output over 7% and over 15% higher. Note: the individual electrical values (Voc/Isc/Vmp/Imp) of this product code have not been confirmed on an individual datasheet; the data above are those valid for the Comet 2U72 series.
Suitable for halls and warehouses with projects of 100 kWp - 1 MWp, where the structure has a limited load reserve and the gain from the rear face cannot be used.

The AIKO-G650-MCH72Mw is the 650 W monofacial version in the Comet 2U72 Mono-Glass series (640-670 W), the second generation of large-format AIKO modules for commercial and industrial applications. It has 144 N-type ABC (All Back Contact) cells in a 6 x 24 configuration, an overall size of 2382 x 1134 x 30 mm and a module efficiency of about 24%.
Being mono-glass (front glass and backsheet), the module weighs about 28.2 kg, significantly less than the bifacial glass-glass versions of the same surface (32-33 kg) - a real advantage on hall roofs with a limited load reserve and when handling on site. The power temperature coefficient is -0.26 %/degree C, and the declared degradation is under 1% in the first year and under 0.35% per year thereafter. The maximum system voltage is 1500 V DC.
The back-contact architecture, without metallisation on the cell's front, increases the active surface and improves tolerance to partial shading. For the Comet 2U series AIKO declares that, on the same surface, the installed capacity is over 5% higher than with TOPCon and over 12.5% higher than with PERC, and the energy output over 7%, respectively over 15% higher. Note: the individual electrical values (Voc/Isc/Vmp/Imp) of this SKU have not been confirmed on the individual datasheet; the data above are those valid for the Comet 2U72 series.
