It is a solar panel with a particularity visible at first glance: the front has none of the metal stripes seen on ordinary panels. The electrical contacts are moved entirely to the back of the cell, so the surface that receives light is larger and the appearance is uniform. It is the same technical platform, offered in a slightly higher power version.

AIKO-A455-MAH54Mw is the 455 W bin of the AIKO mono-glass platform with 54 cells (108 half-cells, 6x18), marketed under the names Neostar 2N and Neostar 2P depending on the market. The cells are N-type ABC, with both contacts on the back, hence without busbars visible on the front of the module - from which come both the gain in active area and the homogeneous appearance.
At STC the module supplies 455 W, with Vmp 33.60 V, Imp 13.55 A, Voc 40.59 V and Isc 14.31 A, and at NOCT 343 W. The module efficiency is 22.8%. The power temperature coefficient of -0.26 %/degree C and the voltage one of -0.22 %/degree C reduce the thermal losses compared with PERC modules and stabilise the string voltage.
The construction includes 3.2 mm toughened front glass, a 30 mm anodised aluminium frame, a 4 mm2 cable with a length of 1200 mm and MC4-Evo2 connectors.
