Aiko Comet 1N A600
More energy from the same roof area: 600 W from a single module, at 23.2% efficiency, with the contacts moved to the back for a fully active front face.
It captures light on the back too, not only on the front: 510 W, 22.9% efficiency, N-type TOPCon cells and a 30-year linear power warranty.
This is a bifacial photovoltaic panel, that is one that also produces current from the light reflected off the ground towards the back of the module. The cells are of the N-type TOPCon kind, a generation that does not suffer the first-months power drop typical of older technologies, and that also behaves well in scorching heat. In short: it ages slowly and loses little in summer. It is mounted on a roof, on a carport or on ground-mounted structures.
At 510 W and an overall size of 1961 x 1134 mm the result is an efficiency of 22.9%, so a system of 12 modules reaches 6.12 kWp. The power loss is under 1% in the first year and under 0.4% per year thereafter, and the linear power warranty runs to 30 years, with a 25-year product warranty. The power temperature coefficient, -0.29 %/degree C, limits the losses in Romania's hot summers. The 30 mm anodised aluminium frame withstands a 5400 Pa snow load and a 2400 Pa wind load. On the rear face, in ground installations with good albedo - light gravel, white membrane, snow - the gain can add roughly 5-15% to the annual output, depending on the surface and the mounting height.
108 N-type TOPCon half-cells arranged 2 x (9 x 6); electrical parameters on the front face Vmp 33.8 V / Imp 15.10 A and Voc 40.0 V / Isc 16.10 A, maximum system voltage 1500 V DC, maximum string fuse 30 A. Temperature coefficients -0.29 %/degree C for Pmax and -0.25 %/degree C for Voc, operating range -40...+85 degrees C. It pairs with the usual string inverters (Deye, Huawei, Sungrow, Solis, Growatt), with the usual check that Voc at -10 degrees C falls within the MPPT window. Technical note: the electrical values above come from the datasheet of the CS6.2-54 platform at 510 W; the TB version keeps these parameters on the front face and adds rear capture.
Suitable for a house with a limited roof, where watts per square metre matter, but above all for ground or carport installations, where the back face of the panel can also be exploited.

The CS6.2-54TB-510 is a bifacial photovoltaic module built on the Canadian Solar CS6.2-54 platform, with 108 N-type TOPCon half-cells arranged 2 x (9 x 6). TOPCon (Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact) cells eliminate boron-oxygen induced degradation (LID) and behave well with regard to LeTID and PID, which means a power loss under 1% in the first year and under 0.4% per year thereafter.
At 510 W and a surface of 1961 x 1134 mm the result is a module efficiency of 22.9%. The electrical parameters on the front face are Vmp 33.8 V / Imp 15.10 A and Voc 40.0 V / Isc 16.10 A, with a maximum system voltage of 1500 V and a maximum string fuse of 30 A. The power temperature coefficient is -0.29 %/degree C, and that of the open-circuit voltage -0.25 %/degree C - values that limit the losses in Romania's summers. The 30 mm anodised aluminium frame withstands a 5400 Pa snow load and a 2400 Pa wind load.
Being the bifacial version (the TB suffix), the module also captures the radiation reflected onto the rear face, a gain which in ground installations with good albedo (light gravel, white membrane, snow) can add 5-15% to the annual output. It pairs without any trouble with the usual string inverters (Deye, Huawei, Sungrow, Solis, Growatt), checking only that Voc at -10 degrees C falls within the MPPT window. Technical note: the electrical values above come from the datasheet of the CS6.2-54 platform at 510 W; the TB version keeps these parameters on the front face and adds rear capture.
