Deye RW-F16 battery, 16 kWh, LiFePo4
Autonomy for a whole evening: 16 kWh, of which 14.4 kWh usable, 160 A continuous and a 300 A peak for appliances that are hard to start.
15 kWh of reserve for the house: 3 Growatt modules of 5 kWh stacked on the same base, with 92% usable energy and 6000 declared cycles. Cables included.
It is a storage set for a home made up of three identical battery boxes, which are placed one on top of the other on a common base. Their role is simple: they collect the energy from the panels when the sun is shining and give it back in the evening and at night, or when the grid goes down. The cells are cobalt-free lithium iron phosphate, a chemistry appreciated for stability and long service life. The base and the cables are included in the package.
The 15 kWh, with 92% usable energy, are a comfortable reserve for a house with higher consumption: besides lighting and household appliances, they can also cover a heat pump or a partial charge of an electric car, depending on how the system is configured. The three modules together deliver up to 180 A, that is around 9 kW at 51.2 V - an indicative value, limited in practice by the inverter. The declared service life is 6000 cycles, indicatively more than 16 years at one cycle a day. A practical advantage: the system allows module-level optimisation, so in two or three years new modules can be added to the same stack, without the old ones dragging down the whole assembly.
Three AXE 5.0L-C1 modules, cobalt-free LiFePO4 cells, 5.0 kWh each, 51.2 V nominal, range 48-57.6 V, maximum charge/discharge current 60 A per module, DoD 92%, 6000 declared cycles. Module 650 x 350 x 165 mm, about 45 kg, IP20, operation 0...+50 °C. Cascaded connection through contacts on the stack, CAN/RS485 communication, remote firmware update. Cables included: 33 mmp, 2 m, maximum 1000 V (positive, negative, earthing) plus RS485 cable. Expandability: up to 10 modules per base (50 kWh), up to 8 clusters in parallel (400 kWh). Compatible with Growatt SPH, SPA, SPF and WIT H; passive protection with fuse and aerosol extinguishing system; CE, RoHS, UL 1973, FCC, UN 38.3 certifications.
Suitable for a home with above-average consumption, on a Growatt SPH or SPA hybrid inverter, which wants several hours of autonomy and the possibility of increasing the capacity later.

Specifications confirmed from the manufacturer's datasheet
The 15 kWh configuration groups three Growatt AXE 5.0L-C1 modules on the same base, together with the set of power and communication cables. The modules use cobalt-free LiFePO4 cells, each with 5.0 kWh at 51.2 V nominal and an operating range of 48-57.6 V. The maximum charge and discharge current is 60 A per module, the depth of discharge 92%, and the declared service life 6000 cycles.
The connection between modules is cascaded, through contacts on the stack, without manual wiring between the units, which considerably shortens the installation. The cable set provides the link to the inverter: 33 mmp conductors, 2 m length, maximum operating voltage 1000 V, with positive, negative and earthing, plus the RS485 communication cable. The system communicates over CAN/RS485 and allows remote firmware update, as well as module-level optimisation, so that new and old modules can coexist in the same stack.
Each module measures 650 x 350 x 165 mm and weighs approximately 45 kg, with an IP20 protection rating and an operating range of 0...+50 °C. Up to 10 modules fit on one base (50 kWh), and up to 8 clusters can be connected in parallel, so a maximum of 400 kWh. The battery is designed for the Growatt single-phase SPH and SPA inverters, for the off-grid SPF series and for the WIT H series. The passive protection includes a fuse and an aerosol extinguishing system. Certifications: CE, RoHS, UL 1973, FCC, UN 38.3.
