Deye RW-F16 battery, 16 kWh, LiFePo4
Autonomy for a whole evening: 16 kWh, of which 14.4 kWh usable, 160 A continuous and a 300 A peak for appliances that are hard to start.
A home battery that keeps the lights on when the grid goes down: 14.3 kWh, of which 13.3 kWh usable, 140 A continuous and over 6000 cycles.
The Growatt HOPE 14.3L-A1 is a large battery, roughly the size of a narrow fridge, which is placed next to the inverter and keeps the energy produced by the panels for later. When the sun sets or when the grid goes down, the house keeps running on this reserve. It has no fans, so it makes no noise: it cools itself, by air.
Of the 14.3 kWh stored, 13.3 kWh are actually usable - enough for the evening and night consumption of an ordinary house, and in emergency mode it can support the fridge, the lighting, the boiler and the essential sockets for more than a day. It delivers 140 A continuously, with peaks of 245 A for 3 seconds on discharge, so it starts pumps and compressors without any trouble. The manufacturer declares over 6000 cycles: at one discharge per day that means over 15 years of use (an indicative estimate, depending on the actual operating regime). It takes up 440 x 265 x 812 mm and weighs under 120 kg, it is installed on the floor or against a wall, indoors as a mandatory requirement. If you later need more reserve, you add identical units in parallel.
Prismatic LiFePO4 cells, 51.2 V nominal, 280 Ah, operating range 40-58.4 V, compatible with the usual 48 V hybrid inverters. Continuous charge/discharge current 140 A, peak 225 A on charge and 245 A on discharge for 3 s; over 6000 cycles at 93% DOD. Natural cooling, IP20, maximum altitude 2000 m, charging temperature 0...55 degrees C, discharge and storage -20...+60 degrees C. CAN and RS485 communication for exchanging current limits and SOC with the inverter; up to 48 units in parallel, that is 686.4 kWh.
Suitable for a house consuming 5,000-8,000 kWh a year that wants both self-consumption and security during power cuts, with a 48 V hybrid inverter.

Specifications confirmed from the manufacturer's datasheet
The Growatt HOPE 14.3L-A1 is a stationary low-voltage battery built on prismatic LiFePO4 cells, with a rated voltage of 51.2 V and a capacity of 280 Ah. The rated energy is 14.3 kWh, of which 13.3 kWh are usable at a depth of discharge of 93%. The voltage range in operation is 40 - 58.4 V, which makes it compatible with the usual 48 V hybrid inverters.
The integrated BMS allows a continuous charge/discharge current of 140 A, with peaks of 225 A on charge and 245 A on discharge for 3 seconds. The declared service life exceeds 6000 cycles at 93% DOD. Cooling is natural, without fans, and the enclosure has an IP20 protection rating, so installation is indoors, at an altitude of at most 2000 m.
Communication is carried out over CAN and RS485, protocols through which the battery talks to the inverter about current limits and state of charge. Up to 48 units can be connected in parallel, resulting in a maximum capacity of 686.4 kWh, which covers both residential applications and small commercial installations.
Dimensions 440 x 265 x 812 mm and weight under 120 kg, floor or against-the-wall installation. Charging temperature 0...55 degrees C, discharging -20...+60 degrees C, storage -20...+60 degrees C.
