Dyness PowerBrick Plus (heating, IP65)

Dyness PowerBrick Plus is a tall and narrow battery, like a tower, which stores the energy produced by the panels for the hours without sun or for power outages. The enclosure is sealed, so it can stand indoors or outdoors, on the floor or on the wall, and with the optional adjustable wheels it can be moved by a single person. It heats itself when it is cold, so that it works normally in the winter months too.

Of the 16.08 kWh, 15.28 kWh are usable, that is, indicatively, the evening and night consumption of a large house. The recommended operating regime is 7.168 kW, and if needed the battery goes up to 10.24 kW, with a peak of 300 A for 2 minutes — enough for starting some motors. It takes up little floor space, 435 x 235 mm, but is 850 mm high and weighs 117 kg. The self-heating function allows it to work between -20 and 55 degrees C, both when charging and when discharging, so you do not lose storage capacity in winter. The declared service life exceeds 8000 cycles, indicatively over 20 years at one charge-discharge per day.

• Usable energy: How much of the total capacity actually reaches the loads: 15.28 kWh out of the 16.08 kWh nominal.
• Self-heating: The battery heats its own cells when it is cold outside, so that it can be charged; without this function, charging below zero degrees is blocked.
• 0.45C: The recommended working rate: at this regime the battery fills or empties in a little over two hours.
