Deye RW-F16 battery, 16 kWh, LiFePo4
Autonomy for a whole evening: 16 kWh, of which 14.4 kWh usable, 160 A continuous and a 300 A peak for appliances that are hard to start.
It brings a Deye GB-L battery tower into operation: it contains the main BMS and the bank's protections, works at 120-750 Vdc, 40 A rated, and is IP65, so it can stay outdoors.
This is not a battery and it does not store energy. It is the part at the base of the Deye GB-L battery tower, the one that coordinates all the others: it contains the main BMS, the contactors that connect and disconnect the bank, the electrical protections and the communication link with the inverter. Without it, the battery modules are just boxes that cannot be used. The set also includes the base on which the tower sits.
On one tower, between 2 and 6 GB-LM4.0 modules of 4.09 kWh each are stacked, which means capacities between about 8.2 and 24.6 kWh - from a reserve for the essential circuits of the house to a bank that can cover the evening and night consumption of a home. The modules are connected through contacts integrated in the stacking structure, without manual cables between them, which shortens installation and reduces the number of contact points that can loosen over time. The control box weighs about 14.5 kg, and the set with the base reaches approximately 24 kg. Being IP65, it can also be installed outdoors, and the integrated display shows the system status and any alarms, without the need for a laptop or an app.
Model GB-LBS + BASE, working range 120-750 Vdc, rated charging/discharging current 40 A, maximum 50 A. Compatible modules GB-LM4.0 (4.09 kWh, 102.4 V, 40 Ah), 2-6 modules per tower, resulting system voltage 204.8-614.4 V, capacity 8.18-24.56 kWh. CAN and RS485 communication, status and alarm display, remote firmware update. Box dimensions 540 x 385 x 110 mm, protection degree IP65.
Suitable for a home that is building a Deye GB-L high-voltage battery bank between 8 and 24 kWh, or for replacing the control unit in an already existing GB-L installation.

Specifications confirmed from the manufacturer's datasheet
The Deye GB-L control box, code GB-LBS, together with the base forms the management part of the high-voltage battery towers of the GB-L family. It is not a battery, but the unit that contains the master BMS, the contactors and the protections of the battery bank, as well as the interface to the inverter.
The voltage range in operation is 120 - 750 Vdc, and the rated charging and discharging current is 40 A, with a maximum of 50 A. These values correspond to the GB-LM4.0 modules of 4.09 kWh, which have 102.4 V and 40 Ah each. Between 2 and 6 modules can be stacked on one tower, which means capacities between about 8.2 and 24.6 kWh and system voltages between 204.8 and 614.4 V.
The modules are connected without cables between them, through connectors integrated in the stacking structure, which reduces the installation time and the number of contact points. The base ensures the positioning and the distance from the ground.
The unit communicates through CAN and RS485 and has a display for the system status and alarms, with the possibility of remote firmware update. The dimensions of the control box are 540 x 385 x 110 mm, with a weight of about 14.5 kg, and the set with the base reaches approximately 24 kg. The protection degree is IP65, which allows outdoor installation.
