Deye RW-F16 battery, 16 kWh, LiFePo4
Autonomy for a whole evening: 16 kWh, of which 14.4 kWh usable, 160 A continuous and a 300 A peak for appliances that are hard to start.
Stores the energy produced during the day for the evening and keeps the house powered during an outage. 9.6 kWh fully usable, indoor or outdoor mounting, expandable up to 25.6 kWh.
The battery is the tank of the installation: the panels produce the most at midday, when the house consumes the least, and the battery keeps the surplus for the evening and the night. This model is made up of three identical modules, stacked one on top of the other like drawers, plus the base, the cover and the switchgear. The cells are LiFePO4, a lithium chemistry chosen for thermal stability and long service life.
The 9.6 kWh are fully usable, not just part of the capacity, meaning the figure on the label is exactly the energy you can draw out of the battery. The maximum charge and discharge power of 6.57 kW, at 5.76 kW rated DC power, means the battery can supply several household loads at the same time, not just the lighting and the fridge. If consumption grows in a few years, the capacity can be increased by adding modules: between 2 and 8 modules per tower, that is 6.4-25.6 kWh, and up to 4 towers can be connected in parallel, for a maximum of 102.4 kWh. The IP55 rating allows outdoor mounting as well, not only indoors, and the stackable plug and play construction means the installation can be carried out even by a single person. The warranty is 10 years.
Prismatic LiFePO4 modules, 3 x 3.2 kWh, usable energy 9.6 kWh at 100% usable energy; nominal voltage 192 V, operating range 150-219 V. Rated DC power 5.76 kW, maximum charge/discharge power 6.57 kW, continuous current 30 A with a 42 A pulse for 10 seconds. BMS included, with multi-level protection; expansion 2-8 modules per tower (6.4-25.6 kWh) and a maximum of 4 units in parallel, up to 102.4 kWh. IP55 protection rating for indoor or outdoor mounting, communication with the Sungrow hybrid inverter through a CAN interface.
Suitable for a house with a Sungrow hybrid inverter and moderate evening consumption, which wants to start from a reasonable capacity and expand it later, module by module.

Specifications confirmed from the manufacturer's datasheet
Sungrow SBR096 is part of the SBR family of high-voltage batteries and is made up of 3 prismatic LiFePO4 modules of 3.2 kWh each, plus the accessory kit with base, cover and switchgear. The usable energy is 9.6 kWh, the battery being designed for 100% usable energy.
The nominal voltage of the assembly is 192 V, with an operating range of 150 - 219 V. The rated DC power is 5.76 kW, and the maximum charge/discharge power reaches 6.57 kW, at a continuous current of 30 A and a pulse of 42 A for 10 seconds.
The battery management system is included, with multi-level protection and the corresponding certifications. The construction is stackable, plug and play, so that the installation can be done by a single person. The IP55 protection rating allows mounting both indoors and outdoors.
The capacity can be adjusted over the lifetime of the installation by adding modules, between 2 and 8 modules, that is 6.4 - 25.6 kWh per tower, and several towers can be paralleled up to 4 units, reaching 102.4 kWh. Communication with the Sungrow hybrid inverter is done through the CAN interface.
