Description
Standing seam sheet roofs have vertical ribs, like folds, which join the sheets to each other. This clamp is tightened exactly on that fold and becomes the fixing point of the rail on which the panels sit. Nothing is drilled, welded or glued - the roof stays exactly as it was handed over, with its watertightness intact.
This solves the most delicate problem of installations on halls and buildings with a metal roof covering: many roofs are under warranty, and any penetration voids that warranty and shifts the responsibility for leaks onto whoever mounted the panels. The clamp has a clamping opening of 7 mm and is approved for double seams made in titanium-zinc, aluminium, stainless steel or galvanised steel sheet, that is for the usual roofing materials. It weighs 0.143 kg and is delivered in boxes of 50 pieces, respectively 2,500 per pallet. A special case: on copper roofs a dedicated insert must be used, because otherwise the copper and the aluminium of the clamp attack each other over time. The K2 product warranty is 12 years, extendable to 20 years through dimensioning in K2 Base and documentation in K2 DocuApp.

Standing Seam Clamp CF:x SingleRail is the seam clamp that allows the SingleRail rail to be mounted directly on standing seam sheet roofs, without perforating the roof covering. The fixing is done by tightening on the double seam, so that the watertightness of the roof stays intact - an important advantage on industrial halls and buildings with a metal roof covering under warranty.
