Basic Rail 22 - K2 mounting rail 4800 mm
It supports the panels on a sheet metal roof without loading it: a 4.8 m aluminium profile that weighs about 3.1 kg and raises the modules by only 22.5 mm.
It is mechanically anchored into the flat roof, when ballast is not an option. A 7.58 kg set of aluminium and stainless steel, modules in portrait position, reference angle 15 degrees.
On most flat roofs, the panel structure is held in place by weights. There are, however, roofs too light for that, or areas where the wind blows too hard, and then the solution is fixing directly into the building structure. This set does exactly that: it is mechanically anchored into the roof and supports the modules standing upright, in portrait.
The set weighs only 7.58 kg, because it needs no ballast - all the force is taken by the anchors. It is the logical choice for light roofs, with limited load-bearing capacity, or for exposed sites, where the amount of concrete slabs needed would be excessive. The angle at which the panels stand is not fixed: it is changed by the choice of the vertical beams, sold separately, the manufacturer's reference configuration being the one at 15 degrees. The combination of aluminium and stainless steel resists corrosion in the long term without additional coatings, including in highly aggressive environments, so it requires no maintenance.
Product code XFS_PI057.1, EAN 5904378628734, penetrating structure for flat roofs, modules in portrait position, set weight 7.58 kg, materials aluminium and stainless steel. Contents: 4 pcs. base L1360 (PF_K029), 4 pcs. diagonal beam L1360 (PF_K030.1), 1 bag of screws for mounting the rails (PF_PB017.1) and 2 bags of screws for the PI system (PF_PB033.1). The resulting angle depends on the length of the chosen vertical beams, which are not included - for example the vertical beam L395, section 40x40x3 mm, code XPF_PI057.1. Corab warranty: 10 years standard, extendable to 15 years by registration.
Suitable for light flat roofs or sites exposed to strong wind, where the required ballast would exceed what the building can carry.

Specifications confirmed from the manufacturer's datasheet
Corab PI-057.1 is a penetrating structure for flat roofs, code XFS_PI057.1, EAN 5904378628734, in which the photovoltaic modules are mounted in portrait position. Unlike ballasted systems, it is mechanically anchored into the roof structure, a solution preferred on light roofs, with limited load-bearing capacity, or in areas with high wind loads, where the required ballast would be excessive.
The set is made of aluminium and stainless steel, with a weight of 7.58 kg, and contains: 4 pieces of base L1360 (PF_K029), 4 pieces of diagonal beam L1360 (PF_K030.1), 1 bag of screws for mounting the rails (PF_PB017.1) and 2 bags of screws for the PI system (PF_PB033.1).
The resulting tilt angle depends on the length of the chosen vertical beams, which are sold separately (for example the vertical beam L395, section 40x40x3 mm, code XPF_PI057.1). The same base structure can therefore be configured over a range of tilts, the manufacturer's reference configuration being the one at 15 degrees. The combination of aluminium and stainless steel provides long-term corrosion resistance without additional coatings, including in highly aggressive environments.
