Pitched roof mounting rail 3,7m

This is the aluminium bar that crosses the roof and on which the panels actually sit. It is fixed to the tile hooks, to the double-threaded bolts or to the standing seam sheet brackets, and the modules are fastened to it with clamps. Without such rails, the panels would have nothing to rest on and could not be aligned straight on the roof.

The length of 3,7 metres usually covers two modules placed on their long side, and for longer rows the rails are joined together with connectors. At 2,92 kg per piece, the profile is easily handled at height by a single person. The channel running along the whole length allows free positioning of the clamps, so it fits any panel width. There is also a version in a black finish, for installations with full black modules, where the aim is that the structure should not be visible from the street. The bolts, click nuts and washers are not included and are ordered separately.

Terms explained

• Load-bearing profile: The metal bar that takes the weight of the panels and passes it on to the hooks fixed into the roof.
• Click nut: A nut that is pushed into the rail channel and locks with a click, without needing to be held with a spanner while tightening.
• Full black: Completely black panels, without silver frames; for them the structure in a black finish is also chosen, so that the installation looks uniform.
