Basic Rail 22 - K2 mounting rail 4800 mm
It supports the panels on a sheet metal roof without loading it: a 4.8 m aluminium profile that weighs about 3.1 kg and raises the modules by only 22.5 mm.
It is inserted directly into the rail channel, by pressing and turning, so you can add a fixing point even after the rail is already installed. Aluminium, M8 thread, 0,0069 kg per piece.
Mounting rails have a channel along their whole length, like a narrow trough. Normally, the nuts are inserted at the end of the rail and slid to the desired place, which is no longer possible after the rail has been fixed to the roof. The channel nut can be placed directly anywhere: you press it and turn it, and it locks in position, like a button that clicks.
The advantage shows during installation and in later modifications: if a panel has to be moved a few centimetres or if you later want to add modules to an existing structure, the rail no longer has to be dismantled. It is made of aluminium, the same metal as the profile, which means the two do not corrode each other over time. It weighs 0,0069 kg per piece and is used in pair with M8 bolts, for the mid and end clamps, for connectors, brackets and the other accessories. It is sold per piece, so you can buy exactly as many as you are missing, although factory packaging is 100 pieces per bag and 1500 in a box.
Aluminium channel nut, called by the manufacturer aluminium click nut, code M694, EAN 5904378625573, M8 thread, mass 0,0069 kg/piece. Installation is done by ratchet insertion into the profile channel, with locking by pressing and turning, without sliding from the end of the rail, which allows insertion on rails already fixed to the roof. The aluminium provides direct electrochemical compatibility with the rail profile, without galvanic coupling. Manufacturer packaging 100 pcs/bag and 1500 pcs/box; an integral component of CORAB support systems, not intended for use outside them.
Suitable for the installer who makes alignment corrections during installation and for the owner who wants to extend an existing installation later, without dismantling the rails.

Specifications confirmed from the manufacturer's datasheet
The channel nut (called by the manufacturer aluminium "click" nut) is inserted directly into the longitudinal channel of the mounting profile and locks in position by pressing and turning, without needing to be slid in from the end of the rail. This allows a fixing point to be added or repositioned even after the rail is already installed and fixed to the roof — an important practical advantage for alignment corrections or when extending an existing installation.
It is made of aluminium, with an M8 thread and a mass of 0,0069 kg per piece. The material provides direct electrochemical compatibility with the aluminium profile of the rail, without the risk of galvanic coupling that occurs with combinations of different metals. It is used in pair with M8 bolts for fixing the end and mid clamps, the connectors, the brackets and the accessories on the rail.
The product is sold per piece, but factory packaging is 100 pieces per bag and 1500 pieces per box. It is an integral component of CORAB support systems and is not intended for use outside them.
