Basic Rail 22 - K2 mounting rail 4800 mm
It supports the panels on a sheet metal roof without loading it: a 4.8 m aluminium profile that weighs about 3.1 kg and raises the modules by only 22.5 mm.
It reduces the force with which the wind lifts the panels off the flat roof, and therefore the ballast required. Sheet of 1850 x 304 x 0.5 mm, 2.28 kg, steel with a Magnelis coating.
On a flat roof, the panels sit tilted on supports, like lecterns. The wind that gets in underneath pushes them upwards, the way air lifts an aircraft's wing, and the structure has to be held in place with weights. The wind deflector is the sheet mounted on the side or behind the row of modules, which blocks and directs that air stream, so that the lifting force is much smaller.
The part measures 1850 x 304 x 0.5 mm and weighs only 2.28 kg, so it adds very little weight to the roof, an important aspect where every kilogram enters the strength calculation of the slab. In exchange, by reducing the lifting force, the deflector lowers the amount of ballast, i.e. of fixing weights, that the system needs. The sheet is of steel coated with Magnelis, a layer of zinc, aluminium and magnesium that protects the cut edges as well, exactly the area where classic galvanising fails first. It fits the CORAB PB-068, PB-092, PB-094 and PB-096 systems; the reference system PB-068 is intended for roofs with a slope of 0-5 degrees and places the modules at 15 degrees, facing south. The amount of ballast is not estimated by eye: it is determined with a ballast calculator, precisely because the deflector changes the result.
Manufacturer code XPF_PB068.5.003A, EAN 5904378628482, dimensions 1850 x 304 x 0.5 mm, weight 2.28 kg, steel with Magnelis anti-corrosion coating (ZM, zinc-aluminium-magnesium alloy). Compatible with the CORAB PB-068, PB-092, PB-094 and PB-096 systems; PB-068 allows a roof slope of 0-5 degrees, modules at 15 degrees facing south, mounting with ballast on dedicated plates or invasively with screws on trapezoidal sheet, structure of aluminium and steel with ZM coating, stainless steel fixing elements and an additional rubber layer that protects the waterproofing against abrasion. Because the deflector directly affects the wind load calculation, the ballast is established with a ballast calculator, not by estimation.
Suitable for installations on a flat roof, with CORAB PB-068, PB-092, PB-094 or PB-096 systems, where the wind load and the amount of ballast must be kept under control.

The L1850 wind breaker is the closing sheet mounted on the flat-roof structure, on the side of or behind the row of modules. Its role is aerodynamic: it directs the air stream so as to reduce the uplift forces acting under the panels and on the structure. Without a deflector, the air that gets under the tilted modules generates a significant lifting force, which translates directly into the need for ballast or anchoring.
It is made of steel with a Magnelis anti-corrosion layer (ZM coating, zinc-aluminium-magnesium alloy), with dimensions of 1850 x 304 x 0.5 mm and a weight of 2.28 kg. The reduced thickness of the sheet keeps the additional load on the roof at a very low level, and the ZM coating provides protection including at the cut edges, where classic galvanising is vulnerable.
The part is compatible with the CORAB PB-068, PB-092, PB-094 and PB-096 systems. The reference system PB-068 is intended for flat roofs with a slope of 0-5 degrees, with modules positioned at 15 degrees facing south, mounting with ballast on dedicated plates or invasively with screws on trapezoidal sheet. The structure combines aluminium and steel with ZM coating, with stainless steel fixing elements and an additional rubber layer that protects the waterproofing against abrasion.
Because the deflector directly influences the wind load calculation, the amount of ballast is established with a ballast calculator, not by estimation.
