Dome-Nut M K2 with clip

The aluminium rails on which the panels are mounted have a channel along their whole length, like a groove. Special nuts are inserted into it, to which all the other parts are then fastened. The problem with classic nuts is that they have to be inserted at the end of the rail and slid to the desired place, which becomes impossible once the installation has progressed. MK2 solves this: it is placed directly at any point of the channel, and a clip of elastic material holds it in position until the bolt is tightened and allows it to be moved later, without dismantling the whole assembly.

In practice, this means that adjustments on the roof are made without taking apart the rows of panels already installed, and a later extension of the installation is done much more simply. The part weighs only 0,013 kg and is supplied in bags of 200 pieces, boxes of 800 and pallets of 19.200 pieces, so it is a project consumable, not a part ordered piece by piece. The aluminium body and the clip of elastic material resist ageing and extreme temperatures, so they keep their function even after years of exposure on the roof. Being compatible with practically all K2 systems, the same nut covers both flat roof projects and pitched roof ones.

MK2 (Nutenstein M mit Clip) is the sliding nut with clip from the K2 range, the basic element for the quick fixing of components in the channel of the aluminium rails. Unlike classic nuts that have to be inserted from the end of the profile, MK2 can be inserted at any point of the rail; the elastomer clip keeps it in position and allows later repositioning without dismantling the whole assembly.
