Dome Windbreaker Extra Long 2045 - 2398 mm

A panel placed on a flat roof behaves in the wind like a lifting surface: the air passing over it creates a suction zone and tries to lift it. The windbreaker mounted behind the row of modules deflects this air flow and reduces the lifting force. The result is that the installation needs less weight on top to stay in place, so the roof is less stressed.

This is the extra long version, made for large format panels, with a length between 2045 and 2398 mm - the 550-720 Wp panels currently used in commercial projects. Each piece weighs 2.428 kg, that is it is easily handled on the roof by a single person, and the standard delivery is 10 pieces per package and 250 pieces on a special pallet, suitable for large panel fields. The direct effect of mounting the windbreakers is a smaller additional load on the floor of the hall or of the building, which matters especially on light metal structures. The steel has a Magnelis ZM310 coating, a zinc-aluminium-magnesium layer which protects against corrosion including at the cut edges, so the part needs no maintenance over the life of the installation.
