In a row of panels, between two neighbouring modules a single clamp is placed which grips both at the same time. It is called a mid clamp and it is the part that appears most often in an installation. Besides the mechanical tightening, it also makes the electrical bond between the panel frames and the metal structure underneath, which matters for the safety of the installation.
