Basic Rail 22 - K2 mounting rail 4800 mm
It supports the panels on a sheet metal roof without loading it: a 4.8 m aluminium profile that weighs about 3.1 kg and raises the modules by only 22.5 mm.
Fastens the panels on a standing seam sheet roof without any hole in the roofing: it is tightened with bolts directly on the seam. Stainless steel body, adjustment slot, M8 threaded joint towards the rail.
Standing seam sheet roofs have vertical ribs, called seams, where the edges of two sheets are folded and pressed one over the other. The clamp is placed astride this seam and tightened onto it with lateral bolts, like a small vice. In this way the panel stays firmly fastened to the roof without a single hole being made in the sheet.
For a house, the main advantage is that the roofing stays intact: no points appear through which water could seep and, as a rule, the warranty given by the sheet manufacturer is not lost, precisely because nothing is pierced. The clamp is made of stainless steel, a material that does not rust in direct and permanent contact with the roof sheet and that withstands wind uplift and snow loading. It has a slot, that is an elongated hole, which allows the fixing to be moved by a few millimetres during installation, so that the panel rows come out aligned. The mounting rail or an L-shaped adapter is then fixed onto the clamp, through an M8 threaded joint. The number of clamps for each panel is not a fixed value: it is established by the installer according to the distance between the seams and the area in which the building is located.
Stainless steel body, non-invasive fastening by bolt clamping on the flanks of the seam, for a single or double standing seam, without piercing the roofing. Slot for flexible positioning of the fixing points and M8 threaded interface towards the rail or towards the L adapter. Sizing is done per project: the number of clamps per module and the spacing between the fixing points depend on the distance between the seams, on the wind and snow zone and on the module size, and tightening must be carried out at the recommended torque, so as not to deform the seam of the sheet. The product is described on the basis of the general technical specification of this type of clamp and of the data published by the distributor; no manufacturer datasheet with a dedicated code was identified, which is why no exact dimensions or certified load-bearing capacities are given.
Suitable for houses, halls or commercial buildings with a standing seam metal roof, where the roofing must not be drilled or where the roof warranty must be preserved.

Generic product — standard specifications
The clamp for standing seam sheet is a non-invasive fastening element. The stainless steel body is placed over the vertical seam of the sheet and tightened with lateral bolts directly on the flanks of the seam. The roofing is not drilled and not pierced, so the roof stays watertight, no infiltration points appear and, in general, the sheet manufacturer's warranty is not affected. It is the standard solution for metal roofs with a single or double standing seam.
The stainless steel construction provides very good corrosion resistance in direct and permanent contact with the roof sheet, as well as mechanical stability under wind uplift loads and snow loading. The clamp includes a slot that allows flexible positioning and precise alignment of the fixing points during installation; the mounting rail or an L adapter is then fixed onto this slot, with an M8 threaded joint.
Sizing is done per project: the number of clamps per module and the distance between the fixing points depend on the distance between the seams, on the wind and snow zone and on the module size. It is important that tightening respects the recommended torque, so as not to deform the seam of the sheet.
