Basic Rail 22 - K2 mounting rail 4800 mm
It supports the panels on a sheet metal roof without loading it: a 4.8 m aluminium profile that weighs about 3.1 kg and raises the modules by only 22.5 mm.
It holds the panel at the end of the row, where the wind pulls hardest: aluminium end clamp, quick Click fixing, for H-type profile 40x40 mm.
It is the part that clamps the edge of the panel at the end of the row and holds it tight to the rail. It looks like a minor detail, but it is precisely the panels at the extremities that the wind tries to lift, so this clamp takes the largest forces in the whole system. It grips by pressing onto the panel frame, without drilling anything.
It is mounted at the two extremities of each module row, on H-type aluminium profiles with a 40x40 mm section: the body of the clamp presses on the frame, and the foot anchors in the channel of the profile. The Click system allows the clamp to be pre-positioned on the rail before the final tightening, so you first align the whole row and only then apply the torque - a real time saving during installation. Being of aluminium, like the panel frame, no corrosion problems appear at the contact point, as happens when steel parts are placed on aluminium. The clamp must be placed strictly within the clamping zones permitted by the panel manufacturer, marked in the installation manual; clamping outside them induces stresses in the laminate and can lead to microcracks in the cells. Tightening is done with a torque wrench, to the indicated torque, not by feel.
Aluminium end clamp with quick Click-type fixing, compatible with H-type aluminium profile 40x40 mm, positioned at the extremities of the module row. It takes both the panel's own weight and the uplift forces generated by the wind, which are at a maximum at the edge modules. The aluminium block ensures electrochemical compatibility with the anodised aluminium frame, avoiding the galvanic couples that appear at steel-aluminium contact. Mounting exclusively in the permitted clamping zones from the panel manual, with tightening to the torque indicated by the mounting system supplier, checked with a torque wrench.
Suited to any system built on H-type 40x40 profiles, on a pitched roof or on a flat roof; the quantity needed results from the number of rows and from the ends of each row.

Generic product — standard specifications
Aluminium end clamp, with a quick Click-type fixing system, intended for H-type aluminium profiles with a 40x40 mm section. It is mounted at the extremities of each module row and takes both the panel's own weight and the uplift forces generated by the wind, which are at a maximum precisely at the edge modules.
The body of the clamp presses on the module frame, and the foot anchors in the channel of the H-type profile. The Click system allows the clamp to be pre-positioned on the rail before the final tightening, so that the installer can align the whole row and only then apply the tightening torque. The aluminium block ensures electrochemical compatibility with the module frame (also of anodised aluminium), avoiding the galvanic couples that appear at steel-aluminium contact.
The end clamp is positioned strictly inside the clamping zones permitted by the panel manufacturer, marked in the installation manual; clamping outside these zones can induce stresses in the laminate and lead to microcracks in the cells. Tightening is done with a torque wrench to the torque indicated by the mounting system supplier, not "by feel".
