The 8 kW version of the AC/DC electrical panel for single-phase Deye inverters keeps the same architecture as the 2-6 kW version, but with switchgear sized for the higher current on the alternating current side, corresponding to a power of 8 kW on a single phase. On the direct current side two photovoltaic strings are prepared, with separate protection and disconnection.
The assembly ensures the disconnection of the installation for interventions, protection against short circuit and overload both on the DC circuit between the panels and the inverter and on the AC circuit between the inverter and the connection point, plus protection against transient overvoltages. This last function is essential in 8 kW systems mounted on roofs, where the collection surface of the modules increases the risk of induction at nearby atmospheric discharges.
