The panels produce direct current, and the house uses alternating current; between them stands the inverter. On each of these two paths there must be fuses and a switch, and this board groups them all in a single box, delivered already wired. The result is a single point from which the installation is shut down for works and a single point that blocks a short circuit or a voltage peak before it reaches the inverter.
The two-string variant is for houses where the panels are divided into two groups, usually on two roof slopes with different orientations or inclinations; each group enters the SUN2000 inverter separately, on one MPPT input each. Each string has its own protection and isolation circuit, so work can be done on one of them without touching the other. The package includes the sealable box for the meter of the distribution operator, made of hard plastic, with dimensions 35,5 x 22,5 x 14 cm and holes for seals - without it the prosumer installation is not energised.
