Huawei SmartDongle 4G network adapter
The module that gives a Huawei inverter internet through a SIM card, where the fixed network does not reach. It plugs into the USB port, serves up to 10 inverters, IP65.
See exactly how much energy comes into the house and how much goes out to the grid: a single-phase panel meter, as wide as two fuses, measuring directly up to 100 A and sending the data over Modbus.
This is an energy meter, that is the device that counts the kilowatt-hours passing through a circuit. It is mounted in the electrical panel, on the standard metal rail, and shows on a small screen how much is being consumed at that moment and how much has been consumed in total. Unlike a classic meter, it counts separately the energy that comes into the house and the energy that leaves the house towards the grid, which matters when you have photovoltaic panels. In addition, it can pass these values on, to an inverter or a monitoring system, through a data wire.
It is connected directly into the circuit, without additional measuring accessories, at 230 V and up to 100 A - as a rough guide, around 23 kW on a single phase, that is more than an ordinary household connection has. The base current is 10 A, and from 0.5 A upwards the measurement is valid, so it also catches small loads. It occupies only 2 modules in the panel (36 mm), as much as two fuses side by side, and it powers itself from the circuit it measures, without a separate supply. On the backlit screen you read kWh, kvarh, active, reactive and apparent power, voltage, current, power factor, frequency and the maximum demand reached, all separately for import and export. Being MID approved in the respective versions, it can also be used where you split the bill between several consumers. It requires no maintenance.
1P2W network, rated voltage 230 V AC with an operating range of 80-120% Un, Ib 10 A / Imax 100 A / Imin 0.5 A, direct connection. Accuracy class 1 for active energy according to IEC 62053-21, respectively class B according to EN 50470-1/-3 on the MID versions, and class 2 for reactive energy according to IEC 62053-23; errors ±0.5% on voltage and current, ±0.2% on frequency. RS485 port with Modbus RTU, configurable speed 1200-38400 bps, addresses 1-247, plus two separate pulse outputs for imported and exported energy. Mounting on 35 mm DIN rail, MID approved / ETL listed certification.
Suitable for a house, a flat or a rented space with a single-phase supply and current up to 100 A, where you want to know exactly how much you consume and how much you deliver to the grid, or to transmit these values automatically to an inverter or a monitoring platform.

Specifications confirmed from the manufacturer's datasheet
The Eastron SDM230 is a single-phase (1P2W) energy meter for mounting on a 35 mm DIN rail, with a width of only 2 modules (36 mm). It is connected directly into the circuit, without current transformers: base current Ib 10 A, maximum current Imax 100 A and minimum measuring current 0.5 A, at a rated voltage of 230 V AC, with an operating range of 80–120% of Un.
The accuracy is class 1 for active energy according to IEC 62053-21, respectively class B according to EN 50470-1/-3 for the MID approved versions, and class 2 for reactive energy (IEC 62053-23). The errors on the instantaneous quantities are ±0.5% on voltage and current and ±0.2% on frequency. The meter displays on a backlit LCD kWh, kvarh, active/reactive/apparent power, voltage, current, power factor, frequency and maximum demand (dmd), all with separate counting for import and export.
Communication is over RS485 with the Modbus RTU protocol, speed configurable between 1200 and 38400 bps and network address 1–247, which allows direct integration into photovoltaic inverters, EMS/BMS systems or monitoring platforms. In addition, two pulse outputs are available for imported and exported energy, useful where pulse metering is preferred. It powers itself from the measured circuit, without an auxiliary supply.
