Description

The hybrid inverter is the brain of the installation: it converts the current from the panels into house current, decides at every moment whether the energy goes to the loads, into the battery or into the grid and, when the grid goes down, it switches the home onto the battery. The three-phase variant is used where the connection is on three phases, that is where there are powerful loads: heat pump, electric hob, workshop or car charging station. The battery connects directly to it, without a second device between the two.

It delivers 10,000 W on three phases and accepts up to 15,000 W of panels, that is an installation larger than the inverter, a sizing that helps in the morning, in the evening and on cloudy days. The battery charges and discharges with up to 10,600 W, so in the evening it can support heavy loads as well, not only the lighting. At a power cut it switches to backup in under 20 ms and holds 10,000 W, with a peak of 12,000 W for 5 minutes; for a real house it also matters a lot that it delivers 100% power on unbalanced loads, that is it is not a problem if the whole consumption sits on a single phase. If the battery has been emptied, it can be recharged from the grid with up to 20,600 W. It is designed for outdoor installation (IP65) and is naturally cooled, without fans, with a noise level of 30 dB.

DC input 1,000 V, two independent MPPTs (one string on MPPT1, two on MPPT2), range 200-950 V, nominal 600 V, start-up 250 V; maximum input current 40.5 A (13.5 A / 27 A), Isc 54 A, maximum recommended PV power 15,000 W. Lithium battery port 150-600 V, 30 A charge and discharge, 10,600 W; output 10,000 W / 10,000 VA at 230/400 V, 3/N/PE, 15.2 A, THD below 3%. Maximum efficiency 98.4% and European 97.9%, transformerless construction, IP65, 460x540x170 mm, 27 kg, natural cooling, 30 dB, -25...+60 C, altitude 4,000 m; type II SPD on DC and AC, DC switch, overcurrent and reverse polarity protection on the battery, master-slave parallel operation of up to 5 units. RS485, WLAN, Ethernet and CAN communication, DI x4 / DO x1; compliant with VDE-AR-N 4105, EN 50549-1, CEI 0-21, IEC/EN 62109-1/-2, IEC 61727, IEC 62116, AS/NZS 4777.2:2020.

Who it suits

Suitable for a home or a guesthouse with a three-phase connection, an installation of up to 15 kWp and large loads such as a heat pump or a charging station, which also needs a backup supply.

Terms explained

  • Three-phase: A three-phase connection, used where there are powerful loads; the power is divided between the three phases.
  • Unbalanced loads: The situation in which the consumption is not divided equally between the three phases; this inverter delivers full power even then.
  • Switching under 20 ms: The time in which the house passes from the grid onto the battery: tens of times shorter than a blink, so the appliances do not stop.
