Deye SUN-10K-SG01HP3-EU-AM2
Better efficiency through a high-voltage battery: 10.000 W three-phase, batteries 160-700 V, panels up to 16.000 W and strings of up to 1000 V.
Converts the panels' current into socket current and can connect a battery directly for the evenings without sun. 3 kW single-phase, two MPPT inputs, 98.3% efficiency, IP65.
The inverter is the part that translates the direct current produced by the panels into the alternating current used by the sockets and appliances in the house; without it, the energy from the roof cannot be consumed. This model is hybrid, that is it also knows how to work with a battery: during the day it sends the surplus into the battery, and in the evening it takes it back out into the house. It is single-phase, so it suits homes with an ordinary connection, on a single phase, and it cools itself, without fans, so it makes no noise and has no parts that could wear out.
The 3,000 W of continuous power cover the current consumption of a small house — fridge, lighting, usual household appliances — and on the panel side it accepts up to 4,500 Wp, that is an oversizing of about 1.5x relative to the AC power, useful on east-west roofs or with high-power modules. The two MPPT inputs allow two strings of panels with different orientations, each tracked separately. If you add a Huawei LUNA2000 battery, the inverter charges it with up to 5,000 W and discharges it with up to 3,300 W, without other equipment in between. With 12 kg and 365 x 375 x 156 mm it takes up as much wall space as a small hand suitcase, and the IP65 protection allows mounting outdoors as well, sheltered from direct rain; it requires no periodic maintenance, and the output is followed in the FusionSolar app.
3,000 W rated active power, 3,300 VA apparent, 15 A maximum output current on 220/230/240 V single-phase, THD below 3%, maximum efficiency 98.3% and weighted European 97.3%. DC side: 2 independent MPPT, maximum input voltage 600 V, MPPT operating range 90-560 V, 12.5 A per MPPT, recommended PV power maximum 4,500 Wp. Integrated battery interface 350-560 V DC, LUNA2000 compatible, 5,000 W on charge and 3,300 W on discharge; together with a back-up module it supplies the essential loads when the grid goes down. IP65 enclosure, natural convection cooling, 12 kg, 365 x 375 x 156 mm; RS485 communication and Smart Dongle WLAN/Ethernet or 4G.
Suitable for a house with a single-phase connection and a system of up to about 4.5 kWp, which wants self-consumption now and, possibly, a battery added later.

Specifications confirmed from the manufacturer's datasheet
SUN2000-3KTL-L1 is a single-phase Smart Energy Controller from Huawei's residential L1 series, with a rated AC power of 3,000 W and a maximum apparent power of 3,300 VA. It works on a 220/230/240 V AC grid and reaches a maximum efficiency of 98.3%, respectively 97.3% weighted European efficiency, with a total harmonic distortion below 3%.
On the DC side it has two independent MPPT trackers, a maximum input voltage of 600 V and an MPPT operating range of 90-560 V, with 12.5 A maximum current on each MPPT. The recommended photovoltaic power is up to 4,500 Wp, which allows an oversizing of about 1.5x relative to the AC power - useful for east-west orientations or high-power modules.
The inverter has an integrated battery interface (350-560 V DC), with a maximum charging power of 5,000 W and a maximum discharging power of 3,300 W, being compatible with the Huawei LUNA2000 storage systems. It can thus work both as an on-grid inverter for self-consumption and as a hybrid inverter with storage, and together with a back-up module it can supply essential loads when the grid goes down.
Structurally it is a compact unit of 12 kg (365 x 375 x 156 mm), with an IP65 protection rating and natural convection cooling, without fans - so without noise and without moving parts that could wear out. Monitoring is done through RS485 and through a Smart Dongle WLAN/Ethernet or 4G, in the FusionSolar app.
